We are delighted to share a recent activity conducted as part of our Eco-School project at Mukungu Choi Jung Sook Fundamental School, located in Bubanza Province. This innovative project aims to integrate sustainable and environmental practices into the school curriculum while providing practical education to students.
During this activity, students actively participated in creating and maintaining our school garden. This initiative not only equips them with valuable agricultural skills but also teaches essential lessons on responsibility, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
Mukungu Choi Jung Sook Fundamental School, built by IPSDI Burundi, is a concrete example of our commitment to providing a holistic education that goes beyond mere academic knowledge. We firmly believe that practical learning and community engagement are crucial in preparing young people to become positive change-makers in their communities.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the teachers, students, and community members who contributed to the success of this activity. Together, we are building a greener and more sustainable future.
